Access the 2024 baccalaureate results
- The results of the 2024 baccalaureate will be published this Monday, July 8, 2024, in all establishments in France where candidates took their exams.
- All the precise grades and averages are transmitted to the candidates in the examination centers, where the successful candidates must collect their diploma. The baccalaureate results are also available today here, free of charge, as soon as they are published.
- The first results were put online by the academies at 11am, the last ones arrive at 3pm. The lists of those admitted can be consulted using the search engine above.

It is the turn of the Toulouse academy to publish the results of the 2024 baccalaureate. 14:26 – What the bac results show so far
At this stage of the results, we observe a slight overall drop in the success rate, all sectors combined, in the baccalaureate this year compared to last year. In some academies this drop is only 0.3% like Strasbourg but in others like Paris, Amiens or Versailles, the gap between the two years is rather around 4 to 5 points.
14:25 – Did the candidates from the Versailles academy receive any distinctions?
Out of 11,810 candidates from the Versailles academy, 8,941 passed their baccalaureate on their first attempt. Half even got a mention (50.86%). As a reminder, there are three mentions: fairly good, good and one very good, depending on the candidate’s overall grade.
14:24 – Several academies have not yet published their 2024 baccalaureate results
At 2pm, many academies have already published the bac results, but in just under ten academies these results will not arrive before 2:30pm or even 3pm. The academies of Bordeaux, Nantes, Limoges, Poitiers and Rennes are the last to give their results, around 3pm. While those of Toulouse, Normandy, Nice, and Montpellier, must publish their results at 2:30pm.
14:20 – Some figures on the baccalaureate results in Corsica
In Corsica, out of 2,430 registered candidates, 2,102 obtained their baccalaureate, 61.65% of whom obtained an honours degree. This brings the success rate for all sectors combined on the Isle of Beauty to 86.5% before the resits on Tuesday and Wednesday.
14:15 – Small drop in success in Créteil?
In the Créteil academy, the success rate for 8,586 candidates is 74.88%. A figure slightly down compared to 2023 when it was 79.87%. The success rates are very similar depending on the streams: 78.92% in general, 74.47% in vocational baccalaureate, 70.92% in technological baccalaureate.
14:09 – What do the results say in the Orléans-Tours academy?
According to the first results, out of 15,617 candidates registered for the baccalaureate, 13,587 passed first time, 62.31% of whom received a distinction. This brings the academy to a success rate of 87%, which is higher than the national rate announced “at more than 85%” by the Minister of National Education on LCI.

The academies publish the bac results from midday, unlike usual where the results are released between 8am and 9am. Here are the times when the bac results are released according to the academies. Click on the name of the academy to directly access the lists of those admitted.
Please note that the baccalaureate results of the second group, made up of students who took the oral resit exams, will be communicated from Tuesday, July 9 to Thursday, July 11, 2024 until 5:00 p.m. The baccalaureate results of candidates taking the September session will be available from the end of September 2024.
The results of the French baccalaureate advance exams have been announced in the first half of July. Their publication times are given on the websites of the various academies. Candidates can consult their results online on the website of their academy by logging in with their personal identifier. They also receive their transcript by mail.
What were the subjects… and the correct answers for the 2024 baccalaureate?
Candidates for the 2024 baccalaureate have not made the same choices about the tests to take: since the last major reform of this exam, final year students have had to choose two specialty tests. Their baccalaureate results depend greatly on their knowledge of the chosen disciplines. The subjects that fell this year in the subjects most chosen by candidates can be found below
Will the 2024 baccalaureate pass rate be as high as in the previous edition? The historic record is for the year 2021, when the Covid crisis had considerably altered exams and learning conditions. This year, the results were spectacularly good, with 95% success for the general track, 89% for the technical baccalaureate and 82% for the professional baccalaureate.

As a reminder, you must have obtained a grade equal to or higher than 10/20 to obtain the baccalaureate. Beyond that, some can obtain a distinction.
*Each candidate must expressly authorize at the beginning of the year the publication of his name on approved websites, via a signed document, to appear in these results. Not all baccalaureate candidates therefore appear on our lists. The names of candidates who failed the first session or who are subject to resit are also only available on an individual basis.
It is important to keep in mind that each candidate’s grades are completely confidential and as such, they can be found on the Cyclades space of the official website of the ministry, by entering their username and password.
If the baccalaureate results on the Internet allow you to know directly whether you have been admitted or not, with or without distinction, candidates for the 2024 baccalaureate must also go to an examination center to collect their diploma and their report card, or to find out more about the procedure to follow in the event of a resit or failure.
