The dispute between YouTuber Stephen “Coffeezilla” Findeisen and Logan Paul continues to escalate. Coffeezilla accused Paul of crypto fraud and he responded to the allegations with a video. MeinMMO reports on the next round in the exchange of blows.
What’s going on there?

Logan Paul attacks Coffezilla and his sources
How does Paul react to the allegations? The first reactions to the massive headwind after the allegations of fraud were rather restrained, a kind of damage limitation.
With the new video, Paul switches to attack. You can find the English video here:
Paul starts his video with accusations against Coffezilla. He developed a “click dependency” and uses his well-known name to generate more clicks. Paul sees a transformation of Coffezilla’s channel: “from investigator to gossip channel”.
Even after that, it’s not about the game itself for the time being, but about the sources that Coffezilla interviewed for his videos.
It’s about developer Zach Kelling, who told Coffezilla that developers on the project weren’t getting paid. Eddie Ibanez is also mentioned, who according to Paul was responsible for the hiring processes. “Emilio” is also a topic – Coffezilla spoke to him about the CryptoZoo game.
Paul says Kelling, Ibanez and Emilio are not trustworthy. Kelling and Emilio are convicted criminals, Ibanez has turned out to be a fraud who has already ripped off the Mormon Church and several billionaires.
He admits he made mistakes working with people like that. Because of the past, they are not trustworthy.
Coffezilla did not fully disclose the sources in his videos and pointed out that some interview partners want to remain anonymous. However, Paul now accuses him of this: “You either forgot about it or you knew about it and left the public in the dark about it”.
NFTs have a bad reputation, especially in gaming. However, the technology behind it is not just aimed at profits:
The harsh criticism of NFTs in gaming is unfair – they are more than micro-transactions
Paul says: CryptoZoo was scammed itself
Logan Paul then also makes it clear: CryptoZoo will be further developed, so the money invested is not lost. But problems with business partners have certainly put the project under pressure.
Paul speaks of $6.7 million stolen from CryptoZoo. He himself never let himself be paid out.
In addition, there were apparently problems with Kelling’s development team, which was supposed to consist of 30 people – but there were only 3.
When Paul found out about the internal problems, he is said to have stopped promoting the game altogether. Logan Paul considers himself innocent and a victim of fraud himself.
He accuses Coffezilla of knowing all these things – including that Paul was innocent – and yet Coffezilla released the 3 cheating allegation videos.
Paul concludes, “Deeply unethical, dangerously misleading and illegal. I recommend you get a lawyer from your Patreon money, you’ll need one.”
At the end of the video, Paul gets a little abusive and makes it clear that all the stress wouldn’t have been necessary if only Coffezilla had gotten in touch with him correctly. He offers to come to his podcast to clarify the matter afterwards.
Currently it looks like Logan Paul has heralded the next round. However, it may go to court. Coffezilla said on Twitter about the video that he wanted to respond but first sort his thoughts (via twitter.com).
