Finally we’re going to Japan! The next Assassin’s Creed has one of the coolest Collector’s Editions of the last 10 years for me

Thanks to the large samurai statue and well-thought-out goodies, the CE from the new open-world adventure really deserves a place on the shelf.

Ubisoft has finally revealed the new Assassin’s Creed Shadows, fulfilling a dream for fans of the series that has certainly been cherished for over 10 years. The action-adventure lets us explore feudal Japan during the time of the samurai. To celebrate, there is an exceptionally good Collector’s Edition of the game.

As is often the case, the Collector’s Edition consists of a mix of steelbook, digital content, a central figure and other collectibles. As a huge samurai and Japan fan, I was particularly taken with the figure.

The almost 40cm high model shows the two main characters of the game in action and just looks damn good. I’d even go so far as to say that I haven’t seen a Collector’s Edition this cool in a few years. Here you can see all the contents of the CE:

    Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set in feudal Japan and makes fans’ hearts beat faster. The setting was vehemently demanded for years, but in the meantime the excellent Ghost of Tsushima was at least able to satisfy the desire somewhat.

    Now, or rather on November 15, 2024, the time has finally come. Ubisoft is finally letting the assassins hunt in the Far East. You can see the reveal trailer here:

    Not much is known about the story and gameplay yet. There will be two main characters. While Yasuke controls himself more like a classic samurai, Naoe jumps nimbly and silently over the rooftops as a shinobi. After many years of absence, changing seasons are also returning.
