Finally there’s a long trailer for Shadow and Bone Season 2

Shadow and Bone – Legends of Grisha returns to Netflix with smoke monsters, a crooked gang of thieves and plenty of magic. After the first short teaser and the first pictures to announce the season 2 start date on March 16, 2023the long trailer has now been released, which gets you in the mood for the big fantasy return.

The lavish fantasy world of Ravka returns. And in the Shadow and Bone Season 2 trailer, there’s not only a reunion with Alina (Jessie Mei Li) and Mal (Archie Renaux), but also first encounters with the new faces of season 2. The narrative seamlessly follows the dark promises made at the end of Season 1.

What is season 2 about? After escaping the “Shadow Corridor” that divides the land in two, Alina and Mal face a difficult task: most recently, the Sun Warrior, who discovered her powers in Season 1 of Shadow and Bone, was able to use her abilities with a deer antler ( multipliers of power).

But that alone won’t be enough to defeat the powerful dark general Kirigan (Ben Barnes), who is far from dead. In order to be able to counter him and his new shadow creatures, Alina now has to find the other two magic power enhancers (and the animals that go with them: firebird and sea snake).

Shadow and Bone Season 2 is already reaching an unexpected climax

Based on the 7 fantasy books by US author Leigh Bardugo, the series Shadow on Bone ties in with the first novel Goldene Flammen, which was filmed in season 1, and covers everything in one go in season 2 Volume 2 and 3 of Alina’s story off, i.e. Icy Waves * and Blazing Wings *. Showrunner Eric Heisserer and Daegan Fryklind revealed this in advance.
