DUNE PART 2. A first trailer for the Dune sequel has been unveiled by Warner Bros, as the sci-fi film is slated for release later this year.
[Mis à jour le 9 mai 2023 à 9h24] The planet Arrakis is soon to return. A trailer for Dune: Part 2, sequel science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve, was unveiled by Warner Bros. In this new adaptation of Frank Herbert’s novel, the plot will pick up directly after the first part, when Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) joins the Fremen. He will attach himself to Chani (Zendaya) while preparing his revolt against the Harkonnens, who destroyed his family. The film is expected in French theaters on November 1, 2023.
Dune 2 will see new faces make up its cast. Florence Pugh has been cast as Princess Irulan, while Austin Butler (Elvis) will play Feyd-Rautha. They will be accompanied by Christopher Walken (Emperor Shaddam IV Corrino), Léa Seydoux (Lady Margot Fenring) and Souheila Yacoub. Timothée Chalamet takes over the role of Paul Atréides, alongside Zendaya (Chani), Josh Brolin (Gurney Halleck), Javier Bardem (Stilgar), Rebecca Ferguson (Lady Jessica) and Stellan Skarsgard (Baron Harkonnen). Synopsis – Dune: second part is the adaptation of the second part of Frank Herbert’s novel. The action is set to pick up directly after the first film and follow Paul Atreides, who joins the Fremen clan on the planet Arrakis. In this film, Paul Atreides begins an alliance with the Fremen and Chani to fight the Harkonnens, who wiped out his family.

Dune: Part 2 is one of the most anticipated movie events of the year. The release date in France is scheduled for November 1, 2023, a little over two years after the release of the first part, which was already produced by Denis Villeneuve.
