Finally a new policy for stand holders, and not everyone is happy with it

Finally a new policy for stand holders and not everyone

A tricky point is the portability of the points of sale. This concerns itinerant trade, which means that the stall must be able to be moved. But many of the stalls have been in the same place for years. If they already have wheels, moving the whole thing is often no longer an option. Under the new regulation, stalls must be removed at the end of the day unless trading continues in the same location the next day. A proposal from UtrechtNu! to help exhibitors with a stall that can no longer move, to convert their permit to that for a kiosk, received a narrow majority. A kiosk does not fall under street trading because it is fixed to the ground.
