Final Fantasy XIV introduces the content of the next update 6.3 in the new trailer. It shows the new raid, continuation of the story and other content. However, according to some players, “the best part” was not shown.
This was shown: A new trailer for patch 6.3 was shown in the current producer stream with director Naoki Yoshida. In it, fans get a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming update.
This includes a new 24-man raid, new story quests and associated dungeon, and a boss fight that is still being kept secret. The update will be released on January 10, 2023. You can watch the German trailer here:

“No Kinds Today”
There are these reactions: The trailers for new FFXIV updates are generally well received by the community. However, there was a disappointment with the video for patch 6.3, which was often pointed out on Twitter.
The goddess Nophica, who appears as one of the bosses in the second part of the 24-man raid “Myths of Eorzeas”, is described as “well heeled” in FFXIV lore. She is the goddess of fertility and is depicted with large breasts on the few artworks that exist of her (see cover image).
Therefore, part of the often very passionate community was excited to see what Nophica would look like in the raid. After all, it would be the first moving images of the goddess.
“Show us Nophica’s big natu… I mean, her face! You’re welcome!”
But the players were disappointed. Although Nophica was shown several times in the trailer, her fabled breasts could not be seen. Either she had her back to the camera or she was cloaked in an explosion of combat effects. A big blow to fans of her “naturals.”
“They really only showed Nophica’s back in the video to avoid us seeing the merchandise.”
Apparently the developers knew exactly what they were doing. Already in the interviews leading up to the producer stream, it was assured that Nophica’s appearance would not disappoint fans.
During the stream, Global Community Producer, Toshio Murouchi, commented that showing Nophica front on in the trailer would be “Not Safe For Work (NSFW)”. This means that she looks too sexy to be featured in a trailer that people might see in public places (e.g. at work).
Already in the first part of the 24-man raid, many players pined over the gods that appear as bosses. Nald’Thal and Azeyma have received a lot of attention. The second part of the raid will probably cause similar reactions.

The main patch will be released on January 10th. It will be followed by several small patches over the next few months, which will deliver additional parts of the content. So it won’t all appear at once, but in bits.
Especially with such content as the Manderville weapons, the tribe of Loporrits and the deep vault, fans should only expect it at a later date. This type of content has always appeared some time after the main patch in the past.
