In the 85th letter from the producer, Naoki Yoshida announced the new content for Patch 7.2 from Final Fantasy XIV. Also included is the new field excursion, the MMO content, which the players have been waiting for since the last expansion.
What are field excursions? Field excursions are large, independent zones in which the players explore together and work towards targets. The fun here is that with over 70 players you can explore a new, very active zone.
New boss opponents regularly spawn and there are fights that have to be done in large groups. The successful end of certain events is unlocked further up to only 48-person raids that can be played there.
Since this, at least subjectively, brings together all players and creates a sense of community, is a lot of fun and can be repeated again and again, many final fantasy-xIV subscribers have been hoping for precisely this announcement for a long time.

What are the features of Kreszentia (English Occult Crescent)? The new field expansion plays in the Final Fantasy-XIV version of the Bermuda triangle, in the triangle of death. There is still an unexplored island that needs to be explored.
As in Eureka and Bozja, the players expect large areas there with free -running monsters. In addition, boss fights should start again regularly. A new 48-man raid like the Delubrum Reginae will also be there.
What makes the new field excursion special? There are two special features that Kreszentia brings with it:
On the one hand, you collect knowledge levels during your explorations that facilitate the struggles against the monsters of the area. On the other hand, you can create up to two so -called Phantom jobs in addition to your normal jobs.

A final game for craftsmen and collectors: the cosmo exploration
What does the end game look like for craftsmen and collectors? Patch 7.2 should also start the cosmo exploration. Similar to the restoration of Ishgard, craftsmen and collectors should help together.
Instead of building up a city shattered by the war, they travel from Planet to Planet and colonize them. The screenshots are started on the moon, which has been traveled since endwalker. From 7.2 a new planet for building up should then be activated with every patch.
Similar to Ishgard, this is about fulfilling orders and completing events. After each successful event, new buildings spawn. So slowly but steadily the surroundings fill.
The reward for the reconstruction of Ishgard was the activation of the new Housing District Himmelsstadt. What the players will expect at the end of the cosmo exploration is not yet known.
