The current Dawntrail expansion of Final Fantasy XIV will enter its next round in mid-November 2024. Square Enix’s new overview page now reveals what’s in Patch 7.1.

You can now also find an overview of patch 7.1 in the Dawntrail area via finalfantasyxiv.com. The first content package for the current expansion is called Crossroads and is scheduled to land on the live servers in mid-November 2024. We’ll tell you what’s in the update below.

All new content from Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.1

What’s coming with patch 7.1? The focus of the new chapter is of course the continuation of the main scenario from Dawntrail. The official description says:

“Gülden discovered the paradise that called itself the Living Memory. But not everything that glitters is gold, and so the warrior of light decided in a bitter battle to follow the natural course of life. There is peace again on Tural – but not all conflicts have been resolved. Because now, when two worlds have to find a path to each other, memories that were thought to be lost arise…”

Dawntrail’s main scenario continues with patch 7.1.

Other highlight features include:

  • Alliance Raid Echoes from Vana’diel (Part 1) – Jeuno: The first stage: A strange message from Mamook reaches the Warrior of Light’s ears, luring him once again to the forest of Yak T’el… A whisper of worlds that should never meet, intersecting and creating new, unimagined dangers.
  • Dungeon Research Station Yuweyawata: There was once a small, peaceful settlement in the north of the Eternal Heritage. At a time when the dome did not yet tower over the heads of its inhabitants, Prince Zoraal Ja is said to have gone into battle with his country guard against a real Tural Vidraal.
  • Trial Gok Tajaal – Eternal Queen: Tender harmonies lead the warrior of light into the emotional world of a queen, so pure and devoted to duty that she even forgot her own happiness. So she sacrificed herself for the soulless memories of long-gone existences and threatened to bring endless despair to the world instead of love – all for the good of her people, she believed. What would have happened if she had succeeded in harvesting souls?
