Final Fantasy 16 release date announced at Game Awards 2022, the game will launch exclusively for Playstation 5 first
Final Fantasy 16 release date has been officially announced. Square Enix has finally announced its long-delayed and reluctant release date.
FF 16 will be released on PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023. The game will remain exclusive to Playstation 5 for a while, but will then be released on other platforms.

The name of the cinematic announced by Final Fantasy 16 director Yoshi-P during the Game Awards 2022 event, which took place this morning, is “Revenge”. Final Fantasy fans will capture and analyze a lot of cinematic details, but the most important detail is given at the end of the trailer with the release date of the game.
Apart from the release date of FF 16, it has also been stated when it will come to other platforms. At the end of the video is the statement “It will not be released on other platforms until December 31, 2023”. This means PC owners will be able to play Final Fantasy 16 in early 2024, at least 6 months after the game’s release.
