With Saudi Arabia as the financial engine, SNK can now afford whatever it wants. After regaining its official title of yesteryear and relaunching its biggest licenses (KOF, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug and soon Fatal Fury), the Japanese publisher will begin the second phase of its transformation, namely the development of the SNK Universe Project . The objective is to extend its licenses to universes other than video games, such as cinema, series, animation and of course manga. We remember the OVAs of Fatal Fury, the manga The King of Fighters, or the anime trials of Samurai Shodown, cultural diversification is therefore back.
