Concerning Benoît Jacquot, the prosecution had requested that he be indicted for ” rape, sexual assault and violencelikely to have been committed between 2013 and 2018 ” to the detriment of Julia Roy. The septuagenarian was also indicted for the rape of actress Isild Le Besco between 1998 and 2000. The investigating judge also placed him under the more favorable status of assisted witness for marital rape of Julia Roy in 2007 and of Isild le Besco between 2014 and 2018.
The public prosecutor had requested that the French director and screenwriter be placed under judicial supervision, a request which was accepted.
