21-year-old Tove from Vetlanda, who disappeared after a night out last Saturday, has not yet been found. She was reported missing on Sunday afternoon and during the week an intensive search for her has been underway. An area of just under two kilometers, which started from the center of Vetlanda, has been investigated, but without results.
Surveillance images from a parking lot, located near the pub where Tove was last seen, caught the police’s interest. But new information to TV4 Nyheterna indicates that the people in the pictures have nothing to do with Tove’s disappearance.
On Friday, the police announced that they are ending the large search effort where they were assisted by the rescue service, the home guard, Missing people and the Maritime Rescue Society, but that the criminal investigation is still ongoing. And on Saturday, Missing people resumed the search after a one-day break.
Two women in their 20s have been in custody on probable cause on suspicion of kidnapping since Thursday.
