On Wednesday, the admissions notices came in the first selection for the autumn’s university courses. In total, over 305,000 people have been admitted to education throughout the country this autumn, 11,000 more than last year.
Almost 85,000 people applied to Uppsala University, of which 33,000 were accepted.
Filippa Gabrielsson, who is from the university city of Linköping, has been eager to discover something new after graduation. Her first choice was the Politics bachelor’s program at Uppsala University.
– It’s great fun and exciting that you can enter where you want, says Filippa.
Next challenge: Finding student accommodation
Now awaits the challenge of finding accommodation in an already tough housing market.
– I haven’t found anything yet, so I guess I’ll have to struggle.
