In a villa in the community of Korsør, missing 13-year-old Filippa was found today, according to a neighbor BT spoke to.

– We got home just before 3pm and then an ambulance stopped in front of the villa, he tells the newspaper.

Then a 32-year-old man was arrested.

In the midst of a villa idyll in the Danish resort of Korsør, a major drama occurred today. In a villa, 13-year-old Filippa was found, who had been missing for over a day.

A 32-year-old man was then arrested.

The villa has since been cordoned off.

An ambulance came

The Danish newspaper BT have spoken to neighbors who witnessed the police operation.

They say that they themselves had participated in the search for the missing teenager. When they got home, they saw an ambulance stopped outside the house in question.

– At that time there were only civilian police cars and they had blocked off the road at both ends, says the neighbor.

He says that the paramedics came out with a stretcher.

– There was a person on the stretcher wrapped in a bluish blanket.

The neighbors are convinced that it was Filippa who was lying on the stretcher.

It is unclear what happened in the house

A few minutes later, several police patrols arrived and raided the address.

The neighbor tells BT that he knows who lives in the house in question but that he does not know him. It is a 32-year-old man and most likely the one who has been arrested by the police.

The police now have a large and extensive investigation ahead of them. It is still unclear what happened in the house in question and what happened to Filippa, 13.

The police held a press conference earlier today, but did not want to specify the circumstances of the case in more detail.

They did not want to answer in detail how it happened when the man was arrested and Filippa was rescued.

Filippa’s mother: “Feels well”

The neighbors BT spoke to say they never saw anything arresting, but assume it happened either just before the ambulance arrived.

The newspaper Ekstrabladet has been in contact with Filippa’s mother Pernille after her daughter came home.

She says that Filippa “feels good, given the circumstances”.
