Filip Forsberg’s scoring success – was behind the victory for Nashville

It was in the middle of the first period in the away game against the Edmonton Oilers that Filip Forsberg struck.

The Leksands-bred forward rode majestically into the offensive zone and made his way around the box before putting the puck behind goalkeeper Jack Campbell.

Scored four points

Forsberg wasn’t done there. He also played up to under-the-radar partner Ryan O’Reilly’s three goals: 2-1, 3-1 and 5-2.

Forsberg thus received four new points on his account and the 29-year-old tops the Nashville Predators’ internal scorers with 13 in total.

Mattias Ekholm responded for an assist on the Oilers’ 1-0 goal, which was scored by Darnell Nurse.
