Filip Forsberg’s mighty feat last night – breaking the NHL goal record

Nashville’s Filip Forsberg has now scored 43 goals on the season, a new career best. He scored two goals and an assist as St. Louis was defeated 6–3 in the night’s NHL round.

Philip Forsberg shot 2–1 in numerical superiority in the second period and 5–3 in an open cage in the third. The 29-year-old Swede now shares the club record for most goals in a season with the Canadian Matt Duchene.

With the victory, Nashville broke a three-game losing streak and is now well positioned to secure a so-called wild-card spot for the playoffs.
