Poland is sending four MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine within “a few days”, the country’s President Andrzej Duda said. According to Duda, further deliveries of fighter aircraft of the same model are also being prepared, writes The Guardian. The Polish president made his announcement during a joint press conference in Warsaw together with Czech president Petr Pavel. According to Duda, the Mig 29 planes will be replaced by South Korean FA 50 fighter jets and American F 35 fighter jets. About a week ago, the Polish president announced that Poland was ready to send Mig 29 planes to Ukraine, but without leaving any exact timetable for delivery.
