Prince Harry publishes the book “The Substitute” in which he describes a violent argument between him and his brother, which would have pushed him to the ground.

According to the book, an altercation between Prince William and Harry occurred in London in 2019. The British daily reported that William described the Duke of Sussex’s wife, Meghan, as an “aggressive” and ” impolite”. Words that would have prompted Harry to call his brother a “parrot of the press”. In comments relayed by ITV, as part of a promotional interview this Sunday, January 8, Prince Harry gave more details on this violent argument. He said he saw the “extreme anger” that emanated from his brother, stating in passing that he thought William wanted to be “hit back”. The same day on the American channel CBS, the prince gave more details about this dispute. During the show 60 minutes, he revealed that for him, the nervousness of his brother William was due to “an accumulation of frustration”. Meghan’s husband blames the press for the tensions that estranged him from his brother. For Harry, his brother “consumed a lot of tabloid press” at the time, which would have caused annoyance because of his relationship with Meghan.
Another element revealed by the book, Harry would not have wanted to bring up this argument with Meghan to “protect her”, but she discovered this heated altercation by noticing the marks on Harry’s back, according to information from the Guardian. The Duchess of Sussex would then have felt “sadness” and not anger, according to her words.

This would have occurred in the gardens of Frogmore Cottage, an English residence belonging to Harry. According to the British media, during a walk in these gardens, the children of King Charles III would have mentioned the famous interview of Harry and Meghan with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. Prince William would then have got angry and “really furious” would have told him chanted: “You never came to talk to us about it, you never came to talk to me about it”. Thus, the Prince of Wales would have grabbed the t-shirt” twice, and intimated that this situation made him “sick” but that he only wanted “his happiness”. “Listen to me, Harold, listen! I love you, I want you to be happy!”, he would have launched. Harry would then have replied: “I love you too… But your stubbornness is extraordinary!”
