People over the age of 65 and adults in the risk group are recommended a fifth dose of covid-19 this autumn. Adults in the 18-64 age group can take a fourth dose if they wish, but this is not a recommendation. This emerged at a press conference with Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hallengren (S) and the Public Health Agency’s Director General Karin Tegmark Wisell. – The pandemic is not over, says Hallengren. According to the latest statistics from the Swedish Public Health Agency (May 19), 65 percent of the population aged 18 and up have received three doses of covid vaccine.
