When will the FIFA 23 World Cup update be released? The launch of the World Cup content was announced by EA Sports for November 9th. From then on, content like “Tournament Mode” should be available.

New World Cup-themed content will also be added to Ultimate Team. Most of this part will not start until November 11th.

Is there a release time? An official time is not yet known. EA Sports only announced via the EA Forum that the “FIFA World Cup 2022 Experience” will start with Title Update 3. Exactly what time is not yet known.

What is FIFA 23 getting in the World Cup update? The game will have different content related to the World Cup. These include:

  • Two new stadiums
  • A new soundtrack featuring some of the most popular songs of the past few years

    • What’s happening in Ultimate Team? Some World Cup content will also appear in FUT. These include, for example:

  • Time-limited player cards from stars included in the World Cup squads. They are only available until January 4th and will be removed afterwards. They are identified by a timer icon.
  • But there will also be permanently improved special cards in events during the beginning of Season 2.

  • Works similar to the icon swap from older games: Earn WM player items that can be earned and trade them for rewards. You can also collect duplicates.
