The servers are currently unavailable in FIFA 23. Here we summarize what EA says about the maintenance work and when it will continue.
What is the server status in FIFA 23? If you are currently logging into FIFA 23, you will get the message that you cannot access the server at the moment.
It says: “Unfortunately, the EA servers seem to be unavailable at the moment. We are working on the issue. Please try again later.”
Online games are currently not possible. The Companion App and the Web App are not affected.
However, EA has already reported on the subject and explained when it will continue.
Maintenance work on the FIFA 23 servers should end at noon
This is what EA says about the server down: EA announced via the Direct Communication channel on Twitter that maintenance work is currently being carried out on the server.
These began at 08:00 in the morning and are expected to end at 13:00.
Matchmaking was deactivated half an hour earlier. Not only FIFA 23 is affected, but all titles from FIFA 18 to 23.
From 13:00 the game should be running again. If new information becomes known, we will keep you up to date here.
How can I play FIFA 23 right now? It is also possible to play the career mode and, for example, sign some of the best talent in FIFA 23. Career mode runs without an internet connection and is therefore not affected.
Kick-off matches against friends in couch co-op or the AI are still possible. However, if you currently want to play FUT, you can only use the Companion App and Web App. Here you can manage your club, sign or sell players, solve SBCs and collect rewards from goals.
The season in FIFA 23 is slowly coming to an end and the first details about the successor are becoming known – which will not be called FIFA 24. You can find all the information you already know about EA Sports FC here.
