For the FIFA World Cup, FIFA released 23 dynamic Path-to-Glory maps that can only get better and better. We’ll show you when the cards are ready for upgrades.
What is Path to Glory in FIFA 23? The Path to Glory event revolves around the players taking part in the FIFA World Cup this year. They can always get stronger and get upgrades as they progress.
How Path to Glory upgrades work: In order for the new World Cup special cards to receive upgrades, the respective player’s nations must progress further and further in the tournament. The first upgrade is for entering the round of 16 and the last after winning the final game.
This is how the upgrades look in detail:
If a team survives the group phase, the player gets an upgrade
After the first KO round there is an upgrade
Quarterfinal winners get 5 stars on the weak foot
Winners of the semifinals get 5-star skills
The final winner gets another stat upgrade and three new player traits
