Welcoming the new year in Mardin with field employees carrying out fiber transformation operations, Türk Telekom CEO Ümit Önal said, “With the motto of high-speed access for everyone, we continue to weave our country with fiber networks extending from the east to the west, from the south to the north, to every corner of 81 provinces.” . We have the infrastructure capacity to provide speeds exceeding 300 Mbps on average across Türkiye. We provide 1 Gbps access speed to more than 9 million households. With the fiberization rate approaching one hundred percent in Mardin, we have the infrastructure to offer our subscribers an access speed of 487 Mbps, above the Türkiye average. We reached a value above Türkiye’s average with 56 percent in LTE mobile base station fiberization in the city. “Our goal is to build a more connected, smarter, more secure and accessible digital world for everyone,” he said.

In addition, Türk Telekom completed the fiber infrastructure transformation in Mardin Organized Industrial Zone, providing 1 Gbps receivable speed.
