With the end of 2022, the official sales figures revealed the trends of the automobile market in Turkey. In the market, where the total market of automobiles and light commercial vehicles increased to 783,283 units compared to the previous year, Fiat comes first on a brand basis. Carrying its leadership since 2019 to its fourth year, the brand has become the leader of the total automobile and light commercial vehicle market. Awarded as the “Most Preferred Automobile Brand of the Year” by the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association, Fiat managed to stand the test with Egea in the “Most Preferred Model of the Year” category.
Fiat closed the year with a market share approaching 19 percent
Making important statements on the subject at the event, Brand Director Altan Aytaç emphasized that they completed 2022 with sales of 146 thousand 435 units and a record market share of 18.7 percent, and stated that they are very pleased and proud of the high demand for FIAT models. Saying that they left behind another difficult year in which many uncertainties were experienced in the world and in our country, Aytaç said; “Despite all the uncertainties and difficulties experienced, we once again achieved very important business results as the FIAT brand in 2022. Today, we experience the happiness and pride of maintaining our leadership in the Turkish market even more strongly. On top of our total market leadership that we achieved for the fourth time in a row, the fact that we are catching the leadership in the automobile market after a long break this year increases the value of our efforts this year.
