Square Enix made a special presentation for the 25th anniversary of the game, which first appeared on Playstation 1 in 1997. Square Enix, which also released a short announcement video for the game, also announced that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released for Playstation 5 at the end of the year. We can probably say that special agreements with Sony continue as in the first game. After that, there is a possibility that the game will come to the PC platform. But this process will take a year, as in the first game, if a package like Intergrade does not come.
Square Enix also announced that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake project will consist of three games in total. In other words, a final episode will be announced after Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It has even been stated that some of the team has already started working on this project.
