Fewer Russian soldiers near Norway

The number of Russian soldiers on the Norwegian border has decreased since Russia’s war of invasion against Ukraine. This was announced by Norwegian defense chief Eirik Kristoffersen when defense chiefs within NATO met in Oslo on Saturday.

– Along our border with Russia, it is perhaps twenty percent or less of what it used to be before February 24, 2022, he says according to TT.

According to Kristoffersen, it should be an indication that Putin, and Russia, do not feel threatened by NATO’s presence in Norway. As they would not have dared to move troops to Ukraine if that was the case.
