MUSIC FESTIVAL. For the fortieth anniversary of the Fête de la Musique, Paris vibrated for a good part of the night for this June 21!

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Fête de la Musique, Parisians and tourists were present and attended, in large numbers, the hundreds of concerts planned or improvised on the stage platforms, the squares of Paris, the concert halls, or even the bars, restaurants and cafes in the city.
At the Elysée Palace, which, like every year, received different artists for a giant concert, Emmanuel Macron hailed the “tremendous success” of the Fête de la Musique. “It encourages a lot of modesty because there are few things in political life, basically, which still remain 40 years later and which are popular practices”, he declared, as reported by the AFP.
A popular and free event, which brought together thousands of people all over the capital, after two years of Music Festival limited by health measures linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. This Tuesday, June 21, until late at night, Paris will have regained all its fervor.
A safe music festival
In a press release issued by the Paris Police Prefecture, a few hours before the start of the festivities on Tuesday June 21, 2022, the measures of the security system for the event were detailed. Thus, it was indicated that “musical entertainment indoors and on the terraces should stop at 00:30”.
The Prefecture of Police then underlined that the police system had been reinforced with the presence on Parisian territory of 3,200 police officers, gendarmes and firefighters “in a security and anti-delinquency mission”. Police forces are indeed very present in the streets of Paris. It was also recommended to adopt “a measured behavior in all circumstances” and to be careful of others and of one’s personal affairs.
