The Festival of Giving is ready to ‘Rock the Block’ with a virtual event this summer.
The Children’s Treatment Center Foundation is hosting the popular annual event on June 25 and encourages people to break out the grill and blender and gather together inside or outside to enjoy an exciting evening of entertainment, fun and a few surprises.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday for $175, which includes a $100 tax receipt and $75 worth of certificates to use locally, one with a chance to win a grand prize dream trip valued at $7,500 by Vellinga Travel & Cruise Experts, or the cash prize.
Local certificates will be from Bayside Brewing Co., Sons of Kent Brewing, Red Barn Brewing Co., Schinkels’ Gourmet Meats, Tim Horton’s, Erieau Marina, and Swiss Chalet in Wallaceburg.
“We would like to thank TekSavvy our lead sponsor for supporting the Festival of Giving, along with the many other sponsors,” said Mike Genge, foundation president.
“When you buy a ticket you not only get a great value with the FOG party bag and a chance at a grand prize, but you are supporting our kids and families at the same time.”
Support from this event will help ensure that the center can continue providing specialized care and therapy to the children in Chatham-Kent, so that children of all abilities can reach their full potential.
“TekSavvy is huge community supporter and this event is something that is very close to our hearts,” said Dava Rabichaud, community engagement partner. “This fundraiser helps so many kids and families in our community and we’re all about helping those who are in the community that we live, work and play in.”
