Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton and Alpinen Pierre Gasly’s cars broke the regulations.
Ferrarin Charles Leclercin and Lewis Hamilton as well as alpine Pierre Gaslyn Results in Formula 1’s Sunday’s Chinese GP have been rejected.
Ferrari’s teammates drove for successive positions on 5th (Leclerc) and 6th (Hamilton) China in Finnish time on Sunday morning. Gasly was 11th.
Leclerc and Hamilton would have also earned points for their investments. Hamilton would also have got an extra point for the fastest round time. Ferrari’s rejection takes 18 World Cup points.
After the competition, all cars were subjected to follow -up inspections, which had problems with Ferrari in both cars.
Leclerc’s car turned out to be a weight limit for the required 800 kg. The titanium plate on the back of Hamilton’s car was considered too worn too.
The case of both Ferrari drivers was transferred to the FIA competition supervisors of the International Car Association. The result was rejection of both drivers. In this way, Leclerc and Hamilton lose their fifth and sixth place.
Alpine Pierre Gasly’s car was estimated to be underweight a kilo, which led to rejection.
