The first place in the 24-hour race was Ferrari’s second in a row.
Ferrari won the fabled 24 Hours of Le Mans on Sunday. Daneskusk Nicklas Nielsen throttled Ferrari’s 499P across the finish line over 14 seconds ahead of Toyota’s GR010 Hybrid.
In addition to Nielsen, the winning car was driven during the day Antonio Fuoco and Miguel Molina. Ferrari also took third place in the race.
The win was the second in a row for the Italian manufacturer. Before the previous year, Ferrari had last been the fastest and most durable in France in 1965.
