And that place is special to her. “I think you never forget where you started, that is always special,” says 23-year-old Bol. “I have grown up on this track since I was eight. Here I ran the 400 meters for the very first time.” Even then she was already pushing her limits. “I was training hard and almost threw up,” she says with a laugh.
