The big eye-catcher on behalf of the Dutch team is of course Femke Bol. The Amersfoort native, who set the world record for the 400 meters for the second time within a year last weekend, will also compete in that distance in Glasgow. Bol is the big favorite for the world title and is also part of the Dutch team for the 4 x 400 meter relay. Amersfoort’s favorite outdoor discipline, the 400 meter hurdles, is not run indoors.
