Fell 60 meters from ride in France – boy dead

The accident happened on Saturday evening. The two affected people are said to have fallen about 60 meters from a popular ride at the amusement park, according to prosecutor Raphael Balland.

Four people, including the theme park’s director, are being questioned in the case.

The amusement park is closed on Sunday and the area around the park is cordoned off by the police.

Gilles d’Ettore, mayor of Cap d’Adges says Saturday night was unusually windy – which he believes may have caused the accident.

The attraction corresponds to the attraction “Free fall” at Gröna Lund and the amusement park is one of the most disturbing in Europe.
