Félix Tshisekedi Tshilombo arrived Monday, November 21 in the early afternoon at the place of mourning where the burning chapel was erected with a photo of Kasongo Mwema Yamba Yamba.

On the spot, he was welcomed by the widow, Hubertine Mbungu Mwema, the children of the deceased as well as by other members and friends of the family. In the apartment, the President of the Republic remained for exactly thirty-three minutes, exchanging with the widow.

Appointed chairman of the board of directors of the Agence congolaise de presse last October after having been the very first spokesperson for President Félix Tshisekedi. His career began in the media at the Congolese National Radio-Television, then called La Voix du Zaïre, in Lubumbashi, before his transfer to Kinshasa and his departure for France where he worked at RFI. A final tribute will be paid to him on Wednesday, November 23.
