“A year ago, six months ago, I was in the fourth quarter – the central banker said – So we saw enormous progress and I hope this continues. If it continues like this I will be willing to push myself even further.”
Bostic reiterated that he expects two interest rate cuts in 2024but – if inflation cools faster than expected – it could see three cuts, which was the median estimate from policymakers in December.
