FC Utrecht starts the season with a practice match against Elinkwijk

Now it is important for FC Utrecht to stay sharp

More than 100 years of Utrecht football history have taken place on the historic grounds of Elinkwijk. But the club is going to leave the ‘holy ground’. The stands, the canteen, the main field, everything goes down. It will be replaced by approximately 260 new-build homes. Elinkwijk does not cease to exist. The club is moving and will have a completely new complex 500 meters away.
