Akseli Puukko will play again on Sunday against Vaasa Palloseura.
Defender of the football league FC Lahti Akseli Puukko will move abroad next week, the club said on their website. The club does not say in more detail where Puukko will move to.
Puukko will still play in Sunday’s match against Vaasa Palloseura.
– I feel that it is time to take the next step forward in my career. At the moment I am really happy about my move, but at the same time I will miss Lahti a lot. Lahti has been my home, Puukko said.
Puukko, who still turns 18 in August, debuted in the main series two years ago. He has played 31 matches in the domestic league, 15 of which this season. Puukko’s contract with Lahti was valid until 2026.
