The FBI has launched an investigation into the Trump campaign’s claims that the campaign was subjected to a cyber attack by Iran.
“We can confirm that the FBI is investigating the matter,” reads a statement.
On Saturday, the former president’s campaign said Iran’s regime hacked their emails and stole sensitive information. There is no evidence of Iranian involvement, but the claim came shortly after Microsoft issued a report detailing attempts by foreign agents to interfere in the election.
