A man in his 40s was shot to death in Skärholmen center on Wednesday evening. The shooting occurred at 6:15 p.m. and a police hunt is underway for the perpetrators.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the man who was murdered was a father who was out walking with his child.
At an underpass, he was shot in the head – in front of his twelve-year-old son.
The young boy witnessed the brutal murder and according to information it was he who called 112. The father has not been with the police before and the information is confirmed by several independent sources.
– I will not go into the circumstances or who raised the alarm, says police spokesperson Nadya Norton.
No arrests
Witnesses in the area have been questioned but the police cannot go into whether there are any suspects in the case and no one has been arrested.
– A technical investigation is underway at the crime scene. We are working with trace protection and we are still looking for the person or persons who did this, says Nadya Norton, spokesperson for the police.
