During the Easter weekend, Russia carried out hundreds of new attacks against Ukraine. In Zaporizhzhya, a 50-year-old man and his eleven-year-old daughter were killed when a robot crashed into the city. “The enemy does not stop using terrorist attacks,” says the Ukrainian military in a statement. Despite the Easter celebrations, the Russian attacks on Ukraine have continued in full force. During the morning, a Russian robot hit a house in the city of Zaporizhzhya in the eastern parts of the country. A 50-year-old man and his 11-year-old daughter died in the attack carried out during the morning, Reuters reports, citing a statement from the authorities in the city. According to the rescue service, a 46-year-old woman, the girl’s mother, had to be rescued from the mobs after the attack. Anatoly Kurtev, the city’s mayor, said several buildings were damaged in the attack. “The Russian terrorists attacked Zaporizhzhya and people lost their lives,” he writes on social media. Ukraine: “Terrorist attacks” The Ukrainian military states in a statement that over 50 Russian attacks have been repelled around the country in the past 24 hours. 40 Russian airstrikes and 58 rocket attacks have been reported. “The enemy does not stop using terrorist attacks,” writes the military on social media according to Sky News. In “annexed” Kherson, Russian troops have shelled the city hundreds of times in the past 24 hours, according to the city’s governor, Oleksandr Produkin.
