Haldimand OPP continues to investigate a single vehicle rollover that resulted in the death of the driver of the vehicle on Sunday morning.
const. Ed Sanchuk said Haldimand Fire and Haldimand EMS also responded to the incident as Highway 6 was closed for the morning to allow investigators to try and determine what happened.
The accident happened just before 6 am between Sandusk Road and Concession 11 Walpole, just outside of Hagersville.
Sanchuk said the driver was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
He also thanks all the first responders and the “good Samaritans who came to the aid of the driver,” on Twitter.
Highway 6 reopened shortly after 2 p.m.
