VINKEVEEN – A dive with fatal outcome 8 years ago in the Vinkeveense Plassen was not an accident, but the fault of a negligent diving instructor. A 51-year-old woman from Baarn touched the practice dive. She was resuscitated and rushed to the AMC in Amsterdam, where she died two days later. Her friend, who was diving instructor at the time, was on trial for death today.
