    06.24 Fire to the ground

    A villa burned to the ground in Uddevalla around 02:30. The person who reported the incident got out of the house unharmed.

    07.51 Fire at restaurant

    13.00 Serial crash and traffic stop

    Several cars collided on the E6 in the southbound direction near Mölndal at lunchtime on Friday. Four to five cars are said to have been involved in the crash. The alarm came at 12:30 and E6 was completely shut down during the operation. At 2 p.m., traffic could not flow as usual.

    13.07 Car overturned

    A car drove off the road and overturned between Idkerberget and Tuna Hästberg in Borlänge municipality at lunchtime. Two people were hit and are said to have received minor injuries in the accident.

    16.26 Drowning alarm

    Police, sea rescue and ambulance rushed to a swimming area in Växjö just before four o’clock in the afternoon after an alarm about drowning, reports P4 Kronoberg. But shortly after the alarm came, the missing person had been found alive and the person had not been in the water.

    16.57 Woman stabbed

    The police moved out in Sigtuna.

    – We were alerted at 16.05 about an injured person, it is a woman in her 40s and she raised the alarm herself that she had been the victim of a crime, said police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.

    According to information to Aftonbladet, the woman has been stabbed and the whole thing is classified as attempted murder.

    A 45-year-old man has been arrested, according to the police he has a close relationship with the woman.

    18.03 Cyclist and moped rider in collision

    A cyclist and a moped collided in Motala. The two people were taken to hospital by ambulance, and were awake and talking.

    19.26 MC and car in collision – serious damage

    A motorcycle and a car collided on road 32 in the height of Aneby. The MC driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.

    – The MC driver has serious injuries, said Johanna Månsson, the rescue service’s command operator.

    19.27 Man dies in accident

    A 55-year-old man died in connection with an accident in Örkelljunga. The car overturned on Ängelholmsvägen. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. Relatives have been notified.

    19.40 Suspected arson

    A fire raged in an apartment building in Blackeberg outside Stockholm. The police suspect that the fire was arson and have opened a preliminary investigation into arson.

    20.13 Alarm about masturbating man

    A car caught fire in Järpen – twice again. When the emergency services arrived at the scene, there was a fire in the back seat of the car, reports say Östersunds-Posten.

    A man was found dead in a lake in Stora Kåsjön in Partille, reports GP.

    A caller had seen a person in the water and the police, ambulance and emergency services went to the scene at 8.15pm on Friday evening. The police later announced that the person found was dead.

    – We have identified the person and relatives have been notified, says Göran Carlbom, duty officer at the police in the West region to the newspaper.

    According to the police, the person must have been reported missing earlier in June.
