Bringing an award for the first time to its brand based in Europe, Volvo XC40 Recharge has a serious potential in the market with its competitive price.
XC40, which Volvo has transitioned to a new segment after many years, brought with it important firsts for the brand when it was launched in 2017. We met about 2.5 years ago as a completely new product with the XC40 family, in which the Swedish manufacturer’s first three-cylinder engine was used. The XC40, which we evaluated over its 2.0-liter diesel engine version at that time, still continues to be “representing the firsts” for Volvo today. The XC40 Recharge, which is the first all-electric representative in the product range of the environmentally friendly approach that the brand directly reflects on its operational and production activities, became our test guest by giving us a dejavu. Lighting the way for those who will come after it, the Volvo XC40 Recharge has the potential to meet the dynamics expected from an electric vehicle in many ways today. The model, which draws attention with its aspects that take the user experience to a different point compared to the standard version, is positioned in a range that will attract attention in its price segment when we consider the performance it offers.
