The Utrecht fashion group Doek is bankrupt. The family business was founded more than a century ago and operated its own stores for decades. “I used to go there with my mother,” says curator Hans Hendriks. “Doek was a concept in the Utrecht region. A really decent fashion store. I am now there as a curator and I must say: it is still a solid company.”
