(Finance) – “Campania defends itself very well in terms of innovation thanks to an ecosystem that has learned to work as a team, in an open and collaborative way. Today’s initiative is further proof of this given that the accountants, small and large companies, universities, institutions and start-ups. A chain with very high added value that allows for new products and services that help to live better, as well as contribute to improving the public administration by making it more efficient” . These are the words of Valeria Fascione, Councilor for Innovation of the Campania Region, on the sidelines of the Conference “Technology trends and new models of transfer of Innovation in the ecosystem of SMEs” promoted by theOrder of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Naples, chaired by Eraldo Turi.
“The challenge of innovation – he argued Gianluca Battaglia, managing director of the Commission for the Development of Productive Activities, Research and Innovation of the Neapolitan Odcec – concerns the present and the future. Where material infrastructures do not arrive, intangible ones must arrive to create development and employment. Distances must be eliminated in a two-speed Italy. An ambitious challenge in which accountants are the decisive professional wing in support of the entire process”.
During the works, the memorandum of understanding was signed between theNeapolitan Odcec and Campania Digital Innovation Hub to foster new innovation skills. TO the number one Neapolitan accountant Eraldo Turi and the managing director of Campania DIH Edoardo Imperiale signed the document.
“This protocol is strategic for businesses. Through an integration of knowledge and skills, it will make it possible to strengthen the offer to small and medium-sized enterprises to develop innovation and digitization processes. Italy is growing but is still below the European average in Southern Italy must grow in this direction and more. We need to accelerate the transfer of know-how and the formation of a 4.0 culture towards companies. It is possible to do this through teamwork, as demonstrated by the strong partnership we have signed”.
The role of accountants has also been underlined by Maria Cristina Gagliardi (managing director Commission Development Productive Activities, Research and Innovation): “Technological development has revolutionized the entire production process. We must increase the skills of accountants so that they can adequately support companies in this process. Thanks to this agreement, we will be the central pivot in the dissemination of the necessary information to entrepreneurs who intend to embark on this path”.
For Fabrizio Monticelli (President of the Commission for the Development of Productive Activities, Research and Innovation) “the path we are taking is to build a system of skills suitable for the transfer of innovation to SMEs. The protocol will give life to a training course on innovation sustainability management which will allow us to achieve this objective”.
