Farming uniques on bosses – overview of where you can find all unique items

In Diablo 4, Uniques could initially only be obtained randomly with a huge amount of luck. But that has changed with Season 2, because some of the hardest bosses in Sanctuary now drop Uniques much more often and can be farmed that way. You can find out which bosses these are and which items you can get through them here.

Why was farming a pain? Before Season 2, heroes had to pray to the RNG god because uniques could only be dropped by opponents with a lot of luck, and by good luck we mean really good luck. There were players who had sunk several hours into nightmare dungeons and after their 100th run still hadn’t gotten the unique they needed for their build.

The new system lets many players breathe a sigh of relief as your chance of farming the one Unique that you actually need increases. In our list you will find all bosses with their uniques and an explanation of how you can summon these bosses.

Varshan

How do I find the boss? You can also summon the boss from Season 1 in Season 2. To do this, go to the Whispering Tree and complete orders there. With a bit of luck, the tree will randomly reward you with Varshan’s body parts. Once you have collected them all, you can summon Varshan at the tree. Note that you can only collect the body parts in world levels 3 and 4.

How do I find the boss? You can only summon this boss if you farm level 30 or higher Nightmare dungeons in World Tier 4. In these dungeons you will then get the item “Distilled Fear”.
