In WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, everything revolves around the currency Bronze. We reveal how you can quickly get large amounts of it.
The temporary game mode WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria will be running in World of Warcraft for almost 3 months. Here you can experience the expansion around the Pandaren, the Sha and the fight against Garrosh Hellscream with some amenities. At the center of this is the new currency “Bronze”. In this article we will tell you how you can farm from it as quickly as possible.
What do you need bronze for? Bronze is the primary currency and fulfills two main tasks in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria:
Apart from that, you can also use bronze to buy consumer goods such as potions or scrolls. However, they also drop a lot, so you usually have enough of all consumables without buying them with bronze.
How do you get bronze? The short version is: through pretty much everything you do. In detail these are:
This fact ensures that every content in Remix is lucrative. No matter whether you’re questing in the open world, mastering dungeons, visiting scenarios or taking part in raids: Bronze is available everywhere.
Farming Bronze – The best methods in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria
If you want to farm a lot of bronze quickly, there are several lucrative methods. Here we will focus on a handful of them with which we have had very good experiences.
Method 1: Farm raids daily
Arguably the most efficient way to farm bronze is to attend raids on normal difficulty. You can visit the Mogu’shan vault in particular from level 25 and is comparatively easy even with an inexperienced group. If you have one or two well-equipped heroes with you, the bosses will fall within a few minutes.
The entire raid can easily be completed in half an hour. Together with the drops from the trash mobs, you’ll get around 6,000 bronze in 30 minutes.
You can repeat the raid every day because your ID is reset every day.
In principle, this tip also applies to the other raids, but here you need a higher level and the difficulty can be a little higher.
Don’t be afraid to find a group. There are usually several groups in the search tool that want to visit the vault. If in doubt, just open your own group. Most of the time you only need one tank and not even a healer if the group is well equipped.
Method 2: Daily and Story Quests
The second efficient method is classic but proven. Just complete quests. For each quest you get a reward box that – at level 70 – contains between 45 and 90 bronze and also improves your cloak and can also grant an item that you can then break down into bronze.
The classic story quests are also worth it because you can often complete them in just a few minutes and earn a lot of bronze.
Of course, the efficiency here also depends on your personal play style, your performance and your character’s equipment, but with quests alone we got 6,000 to 9,000 bronze per hour.
However, quests are limited and the daily quests will eventually be exhausted. But if you only have a little time each day and would like to make solo progress, questing is the perfect option.
Method 3: Rares and Elite Enemies
The third method is farming rares and elite opponents. This is especially possible at level 70. Elite opponents, for example on the Isle of Thunder or the Timeless Isle, also have a chance of dropping low followers of fortune. You can exchange 10 of each for a reward chest and a random gem (also worth 10 bronze).
Once you have upgraded your equipment a few times at level 70, you can easily take on several elite enemies at the same time and, for example, farm the elite opponents around Ordos – whether as a group or alone. Although it’s not as efficient as the previous exploit with the frogs, it’s still quite pleasant.
Try out how many enemies you can kill at the same time and remember that you can collect numerous buffs on the Timeless Island – for example from the shrines or food. This makes your character much stronger and no longer poses such a threat to elite opponents.
Bonus Tip: Daily Solo Boost: 1,000+ Bronze in 60 seconds
We have one final tip for you if you’re short on time and want to get around 1,000 bronze quickly. This is possible as long as you have area damage, have at least halfway acceptable equipment and have already reached level 45 or higher.
Go to the Timeless Island and travel to coordinates 46 / 73 (see screenshot). There you will see a lot of friendly mobs that you can’t do anything to at first. However, the creatures belong to a small event. See if there is a purple crystal nearby.
As soon as you click on the crystal, all mobs become hostile for 60 seconds. They have very little life and die almost instantly from area-of-effect spells. The highlight: They spawn again immediately and can be killed again within 60 seconds!
With a little practice and the appropriate AoE skills, you can easily kill 100 or 200 of the small enemies within a short period of time.
Afterwards, you can loot the mobs you killed. Note that you will have to loot multiple times, as there are so many bodies here that WoW cannot collect them all. So you will have to loot 6 or 7 times to get everything.
However, the crystal can only be clicked once per day and character. So use this one attempt to kill as many of the mobs as possible and get lots of loot in the form of bronze, items and cloak upgrades.
Note that the crystal has a respawn time and is therefore not always available. If you’re missing it, just come back a few minutes later and check again.
