16:50 – The FNSEA against government censorship
While the Barnier government is threatened with a motion of censure, which is likely to succeed, if 49.3 is used to vote on the 2025 budget, the FNSEA is not delighted with this idea. The majority union in the agricultural sector asks MPs to measure the “consequences” of government censorship. “For almost a year, (…) we have obtained a certain number of things. But the dissolution and the threat today which weighs on the government lead us to believe that a certain number of the advances which have been announced are not will not necessarily be there. On X, the president of the FNSEA, Arnaud Rousseau, called on his members to make their deputies aware of the consequences of censorship.

The FNSEA, through its president Arnaud Rousseau, plans to once again mobilize farmers “all over France” on December 9 and 10.
